Unforgettable: to be able to serve

Greetings from Stockton, California!
My family and I are blest with your ever welcoming gesture of our service to you. You have ministered to us more than you could ever imagine. You have left a mark in our hearts that will be forever treasured and make means to give back glory to Him whom all blessings flow.

It is unforgettable to be able to serve and to be received. Thank you for the love! What such LOVE! I really felt it! What joy! What peace! And I know you seek that same joy. There is no other way than to be in Christ. As Jesus is and always be to me, this I say, you are so unforgettable, so endearing, so caring and so compassionate. Thus the name, PAGIBIG!

Go tell the world of how much you are loved and able to love so much whilst the world will hate you because you are "not of the world" (John 17:16). May you find more families like us that may receive spiritual light in any shape or form as what you have thus far done to us. The strength we all ought to have is from Him who fervently prayeth that we "might have joy" and "not taken out of the world, but be kept from evil" (Jn 17:13, 15). God bless you and your continued journey feeding the lamb of God. -Glenda

Men's Night 2008

MEN'S NIGHT
March 8, 2008
Fireside Room, Lake Nelson Church

The Ladies Department of Lake Nelson SDA Church graciously held a formal, RSVP only, sit-down dinner affair to honor the men of the said church. They entitled the dinner affair 'Toast to the Men of Lake Nelson'. The Fireside Room was modishly transformed into a beautiful, cozy banquet hall with a black and white theme complete with table center pieces, silver table settings, balloons and candles. The ambiance in the banquet hall set the tone of the night - simply elegance. Even the hallway was lighted with candles and lined with a white runner sprinkled with sparkling designs and glitters. The full course meal was very good and the men appreciate the full attention of their table waitresses. Door prizes and surprises were presented throughout the evening. At the conclusion of the night, representatives from the Men's department convey their appreciation and gratitude to the hosts of the affair. It was indeed a blessed night and to paraphrase one of the guys - 'one of the best night that I had for a while'.
